Armond Cassil has had many projects with Short Line Railroads.
A few include Indiana Southern RR (Switz City, IN), Tuscola & Saginaw Bay RR
(Cadillac, MI) Indiana Northeastern RR (Hillsdale, MI), Mid-Michigan RR
(Greenville, MI), Lake States RR (Alpena, MI), Gateway Western RR (Granite City,
IL), Wisconsin Central RR (Milton, Wisconsin) and many more.
Recently, many Short Lines have been upgrading their tracks
from jointed to continuous welded rail. We offer experienced personnel and
quality equipment to do this task including crosstie replacement, crosstie
adzing, destressing rail and surfacing final track. This also includes close
coordination with the owner’s train schedules. If the existing train service is
to remain the same during the project, our priority is to maintain a safe track
with quality construction.
Safety and quality are our number one goals. We accomplish
this with qualified personnel. We certify our superintendents and supervisors in
first aide and all are fluent in Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
regulations along with current American Railway Engineering Association (AREA)
standards.
Armond Cassil recognizes that Short Line Railroads are very
important links to the Railroad industry. With our long experience with major
railroads and short lines, we offer very competitive proposals on material and
labor. This includes quality service within the owner’s timetable.
